Peugeot Immobilizer Problems

BSI LOCK UP

Citroens and Peugeot are fitted a BSI (Built-in System Interface/multiplexing unit) this is a computer that controls the wipers, immobilizer etc. This can lock up like your PC all you need to do is to go to the fuse box and look for the shunt fuse (see picture) remove it for 10-15 minutes and it should reset.

To unlock the immobilizer there is a button with lines on it near the ignition switch, as you turn the ignition press this button, it will turn off the immobilizer
