Why 5 Studs

I was intending to use 5 spoke wheels and I think they look so much better with 5 studs, as it keeps the symmetry correct having one stud per spoke.

4 to 5 Studs

The rear was easy, I just order strange half shafts with 5 studs to match the narrowed 8.8 axle.
The front also turned out to be easy, after a little bit of research I found that Zodiac Mk4 front hubs have the same casting as a Capri but with 5 studs which meant they bolt straight on to Capri struts (not 3 litre)
I was pleased to be able to use a standard Ford part.

Longer Studs

The Zodiac only came with steel wheels which meant the studs were too short for alloy wheels.
Zodiac studs are thicker than normal Capri studs and it took a couple of goes to get the correct ones for the job.
